Tecmo has dropped a nice little exclusive gift on the PS3 in the form of Quantum Theory. I mean maybe they wanted to brush the dirt off their shoulders after the nasty split with lead video game designer Tomonobu Itagaki, hence the stunning new direction that Quantum Theory will be offering PS3 owners next year.  Sony didn’t quite deliver on all of the 14 new games at TGS ‘08, but I’m sure that Quantum Theory will do enough to keep PS3 fans chest bumping all through the night.  So check out the trailer, and this preview.

Have you ever seen a trailer or some gameplay footage that just makes you want to have the game in your hands now????   Well this new footage of Killzone 2 coming from the GC ‘08 event, is such a video that will make you go out and slap somebody’s momma!!!  Don’t believe me, then see for yourself and also check out the Killzone 2 Hands On write up over on ign.com.  You will not be disappointed.

Don’t we all want a little Killzone 2 in our lives?  Why of course we do!!!!!  I tell you this game has to be one of the most talked about games outside of the recently released MGS4.  Even when the contraversial showing of that famous E3 05 trailer, Killzone 2 used to be considered as a game that would never reach that type of graphic fidelity.  And now, with each new build and showing it comes closer and closer to that mythical trailer.   How will the game play?  Not for sure, but I am sure that looking at this footage I would love to find out.

So let me get this straight.  You are not just Sackboy, a bad mofo, out to show off how to pwn awesome user created levels???  There’s also enemies to defeat as well as bosses!!!!  I’m still trying to wrap my head around this one.  Now it seems the game that I feel is a must have game for  PS3 owners, is now a gaming experience that transcends it’s console home.  This game should be a game that’s played and shared and discussed amongst the who’s who in the gaming community.  I tell you Sackboy you are so full of surprises that I can’t wait to see what you have in store when you’re officially released.  Battle on!!!

Set to launch on October 28, PS3 owners will return to a beautiful racer.  Motorstorm II: Pacific Rift is really showing some serious shine and polish early on in it’s development cycle.  You can see the evidence in this new gameplay video.  It’s videos like these that make gamers appreciate E3.   So gobble it up and be ready to be suck back in to this title, with the promise of custom soundtracks and other glorious features; I’m sure it won’t be to hard to do.

That’s right folks, on July 2nd, the much anticipated feature for the PS3 will launch; along with a host of other features attached to the firmware update as well.  Some of the new features are custom soundtracks for games, access to your entire friends list, and messages by way of the in game media bar.  Also Trophies will be rolled out as well.  Two games will support Trophies on launch and developers can chose to back patch exsisting games to add trophie support.  Now it’s a lot more description to everything, then what I’m giving you, which is why I’m including the walkthrough vids for all of these neat little tricks for your delight.  Seems that with the release of firmware 2.40 some two weeks away from E3, Sony could have some bigger instore for the big dance.  PS3 owners it’s time to shine!!!!

After the debatable (was it gameplay according to sony or was it cg according to press) E3 2007 trailer, Killzone 2 takes another stab at gaining interest some 3yrs later. Now with the game set for a Febuary 09 release date, Sony seems to be ramping up the marketing push for this highly anticipated PS3 title; one in which fans have been clamoring for since the 2006 launch of the PS3.

Now, how does the new trailer stack up to the original bad boy of trailers???? Well watch the original below and be the judge for yourselves.

I’m scouring the interwebs for some truly crisp gameplay footage of Reistance 2, which is set to burn up the PS3 this fall.  Unfortunately I could only find a link to Ted Price’s demonstration during Sony’s Gamers Day 08(Playstation Day or whatever they’re calling it these days).  Insommiac is putting games on smash right about now, and any fan of gaming should really respect what these guys are doing for the industry.  Enjoy the footage, and I’ll continue to hunt for some better eye candy from this gem.

LittleBigPlanet is preparing to captivate gamers once it drops on the PS3 come October.  There’s few games that have a certain charm to them that makes you realize that the art form behind them is truly unique.  Viva Pinata is one that comes to mind.  I hope that sales for LittleBigPlanet fares better, because it’s games like these that really showcase imaginative thinking at it’s best.  We as gamers are always looking for that experience to keep us engaged in the experience, and LittleBigs seems ready to do take on the task.

What more do we need to say?????? If you have the beta code, get it to crackin already!!!!!! And put up some impression for your fellow BG21 brothers in combat. Remember not everyone is fortunate enough to have both systems and a beta to Da Gear (sad faces). The code was made available if you pre-ordered MGS4, and the beta weighs in at 700mb. As of this writing IGN seem to be having some troubles with getting into the test run of this game
